Pear and jam

This is a remarkably simple breakfast/snack that I first experimented with while in Heathcote. There was some delicious local plum jam in our bungalow and I thought I'd try it on a pear. It was delicious!

Serves 2 (approx 105 calories per serve)

Ingredients
1 medium pear (a crispy one is best)
2 tbsp plum jam (or any jam of your choice)

Method
1. Cut slices of pear
2. Spread small amount of jam over each pear slice
3. Eat!


So easy!

My favourite sweet and savoury snack is a slight variation of this recipe - slice of pear, jam and a thin slice of brie.



To stay under the 150 calorie limited, I recommend only eating two slices of pear with jam and cheese. (But it still a wonderful snack.)
